We’re Back!

It’s been said that “absence makes the heart grow fonder.” After more than nine weeks away from our wonderful clients, everyone at Jem is thrilled to be able to say, “Welcome back!” Starting Tuesday, February 16, we will be open for in-person clients at our fully operational Tecumseh location. Yay!

We’re excited to again provide you with the services you love. Each practitioner is proud to create experiences that help you relax, care for your body and mind, and take time for yourself in meaningful ways. Everything from manicures, pedicures, rejuvenating facials, lashes, body treatments, laser, waxing, and tinting to Reiki, Reflexology, and BodyTalk are completed in a peaceful atmosphere by highly qualified and experienced practitioners. We love providing these services as much as you love experiencing them.


If you had to cancel a service back in December, you will receive a call this week to reschedule your appointment for a time that is convenient for you. However, since our Harrow location is currently still being renovated, if you are a Harrow client, you will have the choice to receive services in Tecumseh, or if you prefer you can wait until Harrow reopens on March 2.


As always, we are committed to the health and safety of each client, visitor, and employee. All contact surfaces and instruments are continuously cleaned meticulously between each client. Service providers will be wearing masks and face shields/goggles. Clients and visitors are also required to wear a mask and refrain from bringing any additional people to appointments. No food or drink is allowed on the premises.


Further, as per safety protocols, when you book a service online you will be asked to fill out the COVID-19 form found in your email. This must be completed before you receive any service from Jem. If you forget or don’t receive the form for some reason, we can fill out the form with you when you arrive for your appointment.

These forms are a vital way to track every single person who enters one of our locations, so contact tracing can be done quickly and efficiently in the unlikely event it becomes necessary. Similarly, each employee is required to fill out the screening form before each shift. If you are looking to purchase products, please continue to use the online store and fill out the form on our website for curbside pickup. All your favourite products are available online, including halcyon, true balm, sun protection, face masks, serums, wellness teas, vegan nail colour, hand salve, moisturizers, and more.


Finally, we are so grateful for your continued support throughout our weeks in lockdown. Now, as we are able to provide in-person services again, we look forward to seeing you soon! Stay tuned for more information about the new crystal facial grids and the timeline for our Harrow reopening.
